Thanksgiving 2008

Thanksgiving break was amazing!!! My sister and her husband were kind enough to "house" us for 5 days. I was spoiled with all of the extra help I had from my family. Mom, Kristi, Adam, Noah, Kenzie, and I spent Wed. afternoon at Disney World. What a thrill to see the look on Noah's face during different rides and events. At one point I had tears in my eyes. (Tears of Joy) Yes... I'm a nerd!
We also had time to spend with Dave's family. I am so thankful for my incredible family and friends! This was the first time I left my family saying, "I don't want to leave." Everyday I pray that we can bring Noah and Kenzie closer to family. It's amazing how incredible it is to get that extra help. And Noah really enjoyed being with his cousin. He woke up every morning asking for Adam (Elmam) and pancakes. What more could you ask for???
Thank you so much to Kristi and Greg for everything they did for us!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Noah helped me with these samples this weekend. Dave and Kenzie were busy playing in Fort Myers with the family.

Halloween 2008
These pictures are out of order, but I'm sure you can see how much fun we had on Halloween. It was all I could do to get myself through the school day and out the door to pick up my litte trick or treaters. My students were crazy... as expected.
Thank you so much to Aunt Jane and Uncle John for allowing Noah, Kenzie, and I to "celebrate" Halloween with them.

Never a dull moment in the Hinton House!!! Noah and Kenzie are growing like weeds. Noah loves to boss around his little sister and Kenzie is learning how to fight back. She has a scream that can kill! Noah enjoys "pretending" to go to the bathroom. I think he does this so he can wash his hands after. There must be something about playing in the sink that is really cool. He tries to get Kenzie to follow in the fun by saying, "Come on Kiki... wash hands!" Although Noah isn't speaking clearly (must have something to do with the fact that he listens to Spanish all day long and English and night) he is saying phrases. He can also count to 10 without being prompted. That was a huge shock for me to hear! I had no idea he could do it. Kenzie says simple words like ... Uh oh, Allie, mama, dada, and no. I wonder where she learned the word NO!?!?!? Oh... and Kenzie is still scooting along at a very fast speed. No walking yet. No matter how difficult they may be... I wouldn't have it any other way!
