Even a princess can have a bad hair day

At least she woke up from her nap a happy camper. Noah often gets up on the wrong side of the bed. I think I'm the same way!:)

Family Visit...

Dave's parents came up for an extended weekend visit. We took a trip to visit Aunt RoseMary and her family. Thank you to Celeste for hosting us and preparing a wonderful lunch. I left early to take Mr. Cranky Pants (Noah) and Princess Kenzie home. I'm sure the family enjoyed some peace and quiet when we left:)
Thank you to MiMi and PaPa for everything!

New Outfits from Mrs. Snow...

Mrs. Snow, my sister's mother-n-law, surprised
us with these adorable outfits for July 4th. For
those of you who don't know, she also made Kenzie's
Baptism gown out of my wedding dress.
Thank you so much Mrs. Snow!
Noah wasn't cooperating. I couldn't get him to
stand still long enough for a good shot of the
two of them. Hmmmm... go figure!

It's all fun and games until someone gets hurt...

I just keep telling Kenzie that her time will
come to beat the snott out of Noah! Maybe he'll
learn. As of right now, he either hugs and kisses
her or slaps her. I'll take any advice I can get.

Fun in the Fountain

Noah loved playing in the fountain at the Smyrna pool. He got the biggest kick out of putting his toe in the spout so that it would spray everyone around. Kenzie just sat in her stroller and watched her big brother make a fool out of himself. Despite the chills and blue lips... Noah didn't want to leave. We were at the pool for a small swim meet... but Noah took over the show!

Sunday Fun...

Nothing beats invisible markers! Noah enjoys writing on his sister, so these are great... at least until I can get over to stop him. As for the bath in the sink... sometimes it's easier. Kenzie made sure to make Noah jealous by grabbing cups out of the side and throwing them at Noah. That's my girl!!!

More Fun in the Sun...

Noah, Kenzie, and I escaped to the Ridall's house to swim while Dave was working hard to finish our back deck. I really appreciate Dave's hard work... but I couldn't stand to listen to Noah shout for Daddy all day long. Noah thinks he's a fish in his life jacket. Kenzie just enjoys sucking on the side of the pool and splashing the dogs. Fun!!!
