Noah and Mom to North Carolina

Noah and I drove to Hiddenite, North Carolina (last weekend) to visit some good friends that I went to high school with. Noah was great in the car... not so great once we got there. I pictured my handsome son playing in the fields and enjoying every minute of the beautiful weather. HAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA! I forgot that he is two!!!!! He had more fun playing in the dogfood, unrolling the papertowel roll, and throwing loud tantrums.

Go Noah...

The first day of school started off with a little adventure thanks to Noah. I arrived at the sitter's house early so that I could unload the kids and make it to school a bit early. I let Noah out of his carseat and headed to the other side to get Kenzie. Just as I shut the door Noah climbed into the driver seat and locked the door. I stood with Kenzie in my arms and almost started to cry. I tried for almomst 10 minutes to get Noah to unlock the door so that I could grab him and get going. He just sat there pretending to drive the car... having a blast! I'm sure the neighbors thought I was crazy. "Unlock the door Noah! Press the button." Finally... he pressed the button and I proceeded with my day. It would have been embarassing to be late on the first day of school. Not to mention... Dave's fire station would have been the ones on the call to get my kid out of the locked car. Noah owes me big time!!!
He is cute though! He loves to dance! The second he hears music he shoots his fingers in the air and does a weird little dance. That's my boy!

Isle of Palms

We had a fabulous time with our family in Isle of Palms! Thank you to the incredible Ridall family for letting us borrow their home for the week. My family was with us for 6 days and then Dave's brother and sister-n-law came to visit us for the remainder of the time. We wish we could stay there forever! Noah is finally swimming and Kenzie also doesn't mind putting her head under water. We just couldn't get our dog to swim!!!
Same time same place next year!!!
